Rock River, Ltd, a full-service design & development agency provided consulting, site development and implementation services to an international client base.
Projects:
- National Rugby League: Sydney, Australia – we built an WordPress-based image upload portal for the staff photographers to add multiple images that already had game relevant metadata attached for delivery to their member organizations and media outlets – API connection to Wazee Digital’s AWS Cloud-based Digital Asset Management system.
- Images of Freedom: Washington DC – we built a WordPress based site that allowed for search/purchase/delivery of declassified digital video and still frame assets from the United States Department of Defense image library stored in the Wazee Digital AWS Cloud-based Digital Asset Management system.
- TRIARC: Beirut, Lebanon – we built a WordPress based site that allowed users to search 4K, High-Def and Standard Def video assets available for licensure, stored in the Wazee Digital AWS Cloud-based Digital Asset Management system.
- WYO-Eclipse: Wheatland, Wyoming – we seized an opportunity to capitalize on the Lunar Eclipse of 2017 by having a supply of ‘eclipse glasses’ manufactured domestically that featured custom in-house designs & branding, selling through Shopify, Amazon, Ebay and wholesale channels. Merchandise included the glasses, t-shirts and hats. We managed all shipping and handling in-house. Over $100k in sales during a 120 day cycle prior to the eclipse.
- SouthPoleSolo: Steamboat Springs, Colorado – we built a WordPress based site to educate school-aged kids in about our client’s solo trek from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole. The site featured an API connection to Garmin’s Satellite Tracking infrastructure allowing the general public to follow our client’s progress across Antarctica with waypoints plotted on a map.

Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF)

WESTAF’s primary function is to administer and distribute funds allocated by the National Endowment for the Arts to recipients in the Western United States. Additionally, WESTAF has partial ownership in several SAAS properties that accept electronic applications for participation in large Art Fairs (ZAPP) within the WESTAF geographic area of responsibility and applications for publicly funded art installation projects (CaFE).
My role:
Provide telephonic support of online application systems, mostly related to users with little or no experience optimizing images for use in the WESTAF systems. Mostly, assisting users with Photoshop and Photoshop elements.

Intuit Websites, formerly Homestead provided turnkey website solutions to their B2B customer base, marketed heavily to their business users of QuickBooks and their family of B2B brands.
My role:
Provide post-sales project setup, detail gathering, product support, project management and post-launch support for websites and e-commerce projects.
On average, managed in excess of 60 concurrent client projects, ushering each through the various steps ‘in the process’.
Constant, relentless, tenacious client communication to ensure timelines were met.
One of my favorite projects is still live, a music promotion site for reggae artist Stanley Roots. It’s from 2011 and absolutely looks like it, but still, for the limitations of the Intuit Websites system, none too shabby.
