Client Challenge
I deployed a WordPress theme for this client in early 2011. At that time, mobile devices were just becoming a wide-spread phenomenon, a site's "responsiveness", wasn't a primary concern quite yet. Over time, I reviewed device use in the client's Google Analytics reporting and to no great surprise, like basically every other site, over half of site visits were on mobile devices.
This new mobile-first site was deployed with a custom theme built with Beaver Builder. The site employs a one-page design with on-screen navigation for optimized page performance on mobile devices.
